Over time, exterior brick chimneys deteriorate and fall apart. The crown on top of chimneys, which is usually installed with weak mortar, can be replaced. We replace the old crown with two to four inches of solid concrete, made to allow water to run away from the chimney flue. Due to the deterioration, brick chimneys can be replaced and restored better than the original build. We offer different styles of chimney caps if one needs to be replaced.
